EEG, an industry leader in closed captioning, and Screen, announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership.
The relationship will enable the companies to explore mutually beneficial applications for their product lines, providing a more expansive range of solutions to the customer bases each serves in their respective regions. EEG has 25+ years of experience of developing closed captioning solutions for the US and Canada, while Screen has 35+ years of experience developing subtitling solutions for the UK and European markets.
“EEG is always on the lookout for the right collaborators,” says Bill McLaughlin, Software Systems Manager for EEG. “We have a great deal of respect for Screen’s experience, innovations, and the level of service they provide to their customers. By working together on select projects, there is clearly potential for our two companies to strengthen the closed captioning and subtitling solutions that are available worldwide.”
“I am extremely pleased that we have strengthened our relationship with EEG — it feels really good to be building closer links to such a friendly Company,” says John Birch, Manager of Strategic Partnerships for Screen. “I am quite certain that we will be able to combine our talents and experience to develop exciting new captioning and subtitling products and services for the broadcast industry”.
